We won!

We are delighted to announce that Green Meadows has been voted Best Small Festival by the Festival Kidz website!

We will work even harder to ensure that GM 18 is better and better!

1 DAY TO GO- IMPORTANT INFO!!

1 day to go  – but we have something important to tell you!

Firstly the A605 east bound from Warmington to Elton will be closed during part of the event. This is not something we wanted but they are essential road works and we can do nothing about it. The council have kindly agreed to delay the closure until 22.00 on Friday – when our gate closes (don’t worry if you are a few minutes late we will still let you in!). For the whole event you be able to access the event by heading to the A1 Junction 17 (Peterborough) and travelling west (towards Oundle) as that stretch of the A605 is unaffected. Local traffic can reach the event via Elton village (although we do ask you to drive sensibly regardless of how excited you are!). If you are travelling east bound on the A605 towards the site on Saturday or Sunday you will have to (it will be signed with arrows):

  1. Turn left at the Warmington Roundabout by the garage (there is no access through Warmington) and head towards Fotheringhay
  2. Right turn at the T junction
  3. Turn Right opposite Fotheringhay church towards Nassington
  4. Take the first Right towards Elton
  5. Stay on that road and drive through Elton Village until you reach a T junction opposite the village hall and then turn right. The site postcode is PE8 6SJ

Continue through the village and the festival entrance will be on the opposite side of the A605. The site postcode is PE8 6SJ.
The road will be open as normal on Monday morning.

Next we have the biggest GM yet and to help us please have your etickets and tickets ready for scanning before you arrive – this will give us the best chance of getting you into the site trouble free.

Finally please remember your essential festival equipment- a small handy torch, baby wipes, toilet paper and a love of your fellow man (or woman). The site ground is a little soft and the field entrances are a little muddy. The main areas, campsites and walkways are really good – but choose footwear sensibly.

We have, once again, tried to improve every area of GM this year and we are sure you will see another giant step has been made. If you have any issues please come and speak to the crew in the information office – they will be happy to help!

Have a great time!

Love
GM Crew x
